The region’s electric capacity is further enhanced by generation from the 60 MW Spring Canyon Wind Energy Center, the 505 MW capacity from Pawnee Station, and 243 MW of peak load capacity provided by Heorot Power Management, LLC’s Brush, Colorado facility.

The region is ready to further expand its manufacturing base with businesses that can benefit from the synergies and cost-efficiencies offered by this established food-ecosystem.
Northeast Colorado often serves as host to bicyclists taking a day trip, regional tour or a cross-country journey. The flat, open roads make this part of the state ideal for cyclists of all ages and experience.
Future Farmers of America, 4-H and county fairs are a big part of the activities Northeast Colorado youth enjoy 12-months a year.
